Development of a creative concept for a fundraising and advocacy campaign
Original Tendering Information:
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select a suitable contractor to carry out the development of a creative concept for the Campaign “From 30 to 0”
UNAIDS is in the process of diversifying the basis of donors and supporters. As part of this process, a specific appeal to financially contribute to UNAIDS vision and strategy for the next years would be launched in connection with the High Level meeting on AIDS1 (June 8-10, 2011).
While there would be an obvious interaction with other communication campaigns under way from UANIDS, this campaign is very specific both in terms of targets and in terms of objective (solicit financial contribution). This campaign would not use specific media like video, TV, radio, posters, etc. but would be mostly based in communications to key decision makers via letters, personal face to face contact and events/meetings.
This RFP is to solicit proposal from advertising and communication agencies to develop a creative concept for this specific campaign which include:
- Suggested approach and strategy to use the proposed concept, messaging and visuals and related tactics envisaged
- Overall messaging and tone for the campaign and for each specific targets including slogans and call for action
- Proposed visuals to be used across the various target audiences and communications/events
The campaign would start in June but it is envisaged to use for at least one year.
