Este es un año decisivo para la respuesta mundial al sida. Al finalizar 2020 se habrá cumplido el plazo para lograr los objetivos acordados en 2016 por la Asamblea General, en su resolución 70/266, con el fin de anticipar los fondos para las inversiones, acelerar la respuesta y poner fin a la epidemia para 2030.
