UNAIDS is hosting two open virtual consultations and invites all interested stakeholders to participate. Each consultation will run for five days and will be held at critical points in the Strategy development process.
Consultation overview:
- 23 March - 2 April, in parallel with regional consultations: This moderated consultation will generate discussion on stakeholder perceptions of strengths, ongoing challenges and game-changers in the AIDS response through the frame of five cross-cutting issues: information, integration, innovation, inclusion and investment. For more information contact strategydevelopment@unaids.org.
- July, following the June PCB meeting: This moderated discussion will focus on the first draft of the Strategy.
Details on the first virtual consultation, 23 March - 2 April
The first consultation will pose three overarching questions to which participants can respond at any point over the five days. Participants will be introduced to the latest thinking on an emerging strategic framework, built upon the three Strategic Directions of the UNAIDS 2011–2015 Strategy, and complemented by five cross-cutting “I’s” (information, integration, innovation, inclusion and investment).
A moderator will monitor the discussion and provide feedback where necessary.
