Special workshop to honour Françoise Barré-Sinoussi's retirement

Françoise Barré-Sinoussi, co-discoverer of HIV in 1983 and winner of the Nobel Prize in Medicine for her contribution to HIV research in 2008, officially retired on 31 August 2015. Though the world-acclaimed scientist will continue to be involved in a number of national and international activities, the ANRS, Inserm, Institut Pasteur and Sidaction organized a workshop on 13 October to honour her exceptional scientific career.
